Some of our guests who could find an opportunity to relay their
ideas to our book of honor.

I Know the delicious meals of Haci Abdullah for 30 years.
When I was a student at the Civil Engineering Faculty of
Istanbul Technical University, I was saving money just to feel
the happiness of dining in this famous restaurant from time to
time, which was known as Haci Salih then. When I became an
assistant and an associate professor, from time to time I came
here to dine and to refresh my memories. I am happy to see thet
Haci Abdullah Restaurant is maintaining thi same taste. Finally
today, we have broken our fast here together with the precious
friends from ISKI.
I sincerely congratulate the owners and the workers.

Our relation with Istanbul, Beyoglu and their local traditional
culture is decreasing. Decreasing every day more and more. Haci
Abdullah is one of the remaining connections not only with its
cuisine but also with its place, taste and service. Maybe, it is
the only one in this respect . It represents not only the
present period but also the previous periods.
It has grown up many generations and we hope it will grow up
many more.

Everything is beautiful, I find the taste of the dishes my
mother cooks in them. I wish beneficial business to my fellow
citizens.

presents the samples of the Turkish cuisine with a great success
and also the people who let it continue to live, and hope that
they will be continiously successful.

Sincerely to the friendly people of dear Haci Abdullah
who have added the eating taste of generations to the hearty
taste of Istanbul's historical accumulation...

You are realizing important tasks with a great success such as
the continuation of the Turkish cuisine and our eating taste
which is an important element of our culture, introduction of
our dishes to the foreigners and reminding them to our local
people.
I sincerely congratulate the Haci Abdullah Restaurant.
--- Recep Tayyip Erdoğan 10th of

We are enjoying the taste of the real Turkish cuisine on the day
that Haci Abdullah restaurant is put to service again after
being restored. We are living the pleasure of gathering together
again in a nice place where our cuisine culture is presented.
I wish from my God a stable future with a legitimate, plentiful
and fruitful profit to you.

I thought no one, yes no one, can cook better than my mother.
Suddenly I looked (I tasted) Oh! My God... or "Is there someone
in the Kitchen ? "
Or is my mother in the kitchen?
With love.

I looked at what the friends wrote about their impressions
without taking their permission. Their common point was the
pleasure that they felt because the Turkish cuisine is let to
live in this place.
I think that all these inpressions and points reflect a paradox
without recognizing it. I do not know how reasonable it may be
to say "Oh, good! There are French dishes in this restaurant."
when you go to a restaurant in France or to say "Thanks to God!
We have eaten an Italian meal." in a restaurant in Italy. If
such things can be said in Haci Abdullah, it means that the
situation is serious.
I hope that during visiting of the restaurant in Turkey, such
impressions will not be put into words frequently.
With my wishes for success,
